Lead, Follow or Get Out of the Way of the Tornados

On December 11th, Neil led a national webinar on behalf of the Canadian Coalition for Green Health Care and in partnership with the Canadian College of Health Leaders. The webinar, titled " Lead, Follow or Get Out of the Way of the Tornados", provided an overview of the relationship between health and the environment and built the case for health leaders to become stronger champions for the environment. New trends including the need to build resiliency and adapt to climate change, carbon pricing and opportunities arising from the clean tech revolution were discussed. Results of a workshop held at the National Health Leadership Conference in Vancouver were also summarized. A conversation with a CEO that participated was part of the presentation and participants were asked to text their feedback and suggestions for necessary actions.
