BioFuture 2030 : A new vision for health and life sciences in Nova Scotia
Since October, 2016 Neil has been working with BioNova, the Nova Scotia Life Sciences Industry Association to lead a project that's bringing together hospitals universities, research institutions, government, and industry. BioFuture 2030 is a long term vision for growth and development of the health and life sciences sector of the economy. There is a broad consultation process that's focused on three areas:
1. Developing the breakthrough research engine
2. Creating commercial value from research
3. Developing programs and services to support globally competitive products
The project outcome will be a strategic and operational plan, including a new governance structure and accountability framework, performance targets and marketing and communications plan.
